Expat Early Year Teacher

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparing lesson planning and teach English
  • Substitute other teachers when required
  • Organize events for students, teachers and parents in the school year
  • Be a homeroom teacher
  • Support the school's admission activities
  • Co-teaching with the Vietnamese teachers.
  • Cooperate with specialist teachers to support students with special needs
  • Promote a safe and happy working environment for all staff school-wide
  • Follow the "smart dress code" as outlined in the Staff Handbook
  • Participate in dress-up themed days

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Licensed teacher qualified to teach Kindergarten
  • Preferred Ontario Certificate of Qualification and member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) or eligible to become certified with OCT. Please see here for more information: https://www.oct.ca/becoming-a-teacher/internationally-educated-teachers

  • Demonstrated commitment to student success
  • Experience in the international environment and teaching English Language Learners is an asset

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Working location: CIS, no.7 street 23, Phu My Hung, district 7, HCMC
  • Working hour: Monday to Friday (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM), Saturday mornings (as per request)
