Quality Accreditation

The Canadian International School (CIS) has officially achieved accreditation by the Council of International Schools (CIS),  the leading organization for international education accreditation worldwide, with a list of rigorous criteria and standards for evaluating a world-class school. CIS International Accreditation has been validated and accepted internationally as a mark of quality assurance.

The Canadian International School (CIS) announces the official accreditation of NCA CASI, NWAC, and SACS CASI – the accreditation agencies of Cognia (*) Accreditation Organization (USA). This marks a significant milestone for CIS and demonstrates a commitment to improving the quality of education within the system and enhancing opportunities for students applying to top national and international universities.

The Cognia accreditation process, lasting from 1.5 to 2 years, recognizes CIS proactively engaging in comprehensive self-assessment, developing and implementing improvement plans, and consistently meeting the strict requirements of the international education quality standards framework.

CIS SAFEGUARDING

CHILD PROTECTION POLICY

We have created the CIS Parent Handbook to help your family understand the rules and expectations at CIS on the way to and from school and at school-sponsored activities. We created the CIS Child Protection Handbook to help you understand our CIS Child Protection Program and the domestic and international laws and conventions that protect children from abuse and neglect and which the CIS families and the school system must adhere to.  We encourage you to read the handbooks carefully and discuss these documents with your children.

CIS campus has a total area of ​​50,000m² with modern equipment, serving to our students working together with Maple Leaf Center (MLC) and the best facilities to serve the comprehensive education goals.

The swimming pool at CIS has been constructed to surpass the high standards set by the Olympic Committee. It is located in a modern facility and is approximately 50 meters long. The water in this pool is crystal-clear and is kept at a precise temperature, meeting all the requirements for Olympic competitions. The pool's infrastructure is meticulously maintained, ensuring optimal water quality and buoyancy. This creates an ideal environment for students to deliver their best performances.
