SCHOOL OVERVIEW:
Canadian International School is the first and only school in Vietnam to offer the Ontario curriculum from Kindergarten to Grade 12. Established and developed since 2009, CIS started its educational journey in cooperation with the well-known and respected District of Niagara School Board, DSBN from 2009 until 2014, and with the Toronto District School Board from 2014 to present.
MAIN DUTIES:
The ideal candidate for this vacancy will exhibit the following characteristics:
Having basic swimming knowledge so as to demonstrate clearly vocabularies and different kinds of strokes
Having experiences in teaching adult
Having ability to create connection and make the class feel comfortable
Well organized, planning, preparing and delivering lessons
Preparing teaching materials to help Vietnamese coaches express their ideas in basic communications
Helping Vietnamese coaches improve their speaking and listening skills in short term via individual and group sessions.
Evaluating learning process daily
Meeting with main in-charge foreign teacher to discuss academic issues when necessary
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduates from University of Education majoring in Physical/ Sport/ Aquatic related
Have valid teaching certificate
Experienced in the same position from 1- 2 years
Be precise and clear pronunciation
Be willing and able to follow direction and instruction.
Be creative and Energetic
Be confident and have excellent communication skills
Be able to use different teaching methods to attract students
Be comfortable teaching with technology
