CIS SPRING UNIVERSITIES FAIR 2024

"Knowledge is not the sole measure of success. The ability to learn, think critically, and innovate is the key to shining at prestigious universities." shared by Ms. Melissa Susan O’Leary - Secondary School Principal of the Canadian International School (CIS).

Understanding this, CIS successfully organized the Spring Universities Fair, providing secondary students at CIS with a golden opportunity to connect with over 70 world-leading universities.

During the event, admissions counselors provided specific advice on:

• Admission criteria: Grades, personal essays, extracurricular activities, etc., for each university.
• Majors and study programs: Career direction after graduation.
• Scholarship opportunities and tuition fees: How to pursue scholarships and information on study expenses.
• Choosing suitable majors based on abilities, interests, and career goals.
• Financial planning for studying abroad.

Moreover, students also received many small souvenir gifts, such as bags, keychains, pens, lanyards, etc., featuring the symbols of the universities, helping them further bond with their favorite universities.

This program is part of the annual Career Guidance activities for  secondary students at CIS, helping them confidently embark on the journey to pursue their university dreams!
