U19 CIS SOCCER TEAM CELEBRATES EPIC VICTORY AT SISAC FINALS

On April 4th, 2024, the U19 CIS Wolves faced off against the U19 EIS from the European International School in a thrilling match at the Tri Hai Stadium in District 2, marking the city-level SISAC qualifiers. Demonstrating unwavering determination and a captivating playing style, the Wolves secured a decisive victory with a final score of 3-2.

Congratulations to the Wolves team for winning the U19 SISAC City Championship 2024 at the Saigon International Schools Sports Conference (SISAC) this afternoon.

There were numerous difficulties during the final round of training. Our young players had to get back into the swing of things fast in order to get ready for the next game because they hadn't had time to truly savour their triumph in the U19 Sisac district qualifications. This time, the excellent squad from EIS was their opponent, making the challenge even more difficult.

Our Wolves team took longer to adjust as they faced a formidable opponent with unique strategies. As a result, just fifteen minutes into the first half, the opposition scored. But the boys' unwavering perseverance allowed them to swiftly reverse the tide. The home team's lead was restored to 1-1 thanks to an assist from An and a precise finish by A. Khoi. Q. Anh turned into a hero in the second half, leading CIS to the ultimate triumph with an outstanding double.

The U19 CIS boys' football team has excelled in overcoming all difficulties to win glory for themselves and the school. This victory is a testament to their perseverance, and it once again affirms the school's position in the field of sports, especially football.
