LEARNING ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE PACKAGING IN CIS GRADE 10 BUSINESS CLASS

News 17/10/2023

At the Canadian International School (CIS), our students engage in project-based learning, gaining hands-on experiences through case studies and real projects.

Recently, Grade 10 students in the Business Class explored the concept of packaging through the Egg Drop project. Inspired by Taylor Swift's calling her fans to lower egg prices across the US, this project challenged our Grade 10 CIS students to create innovative packaging to sell their eggs to the judges - their senior peers in the IB Year 1 Business class. The packaging needed to be attractive, convenient, cost-effective, and, most importantly, capable of protecting the egg from breaking when dropped. This project offers CIS students an opportunity to apply their knowledge from textbooks, understand the importance of packaging design in production and business process, as well as protect and receive suggestions for improving their own products.

How do CISers make the eggs land successfully? Let's take a look at the astounding landing of the eggs!
