CIS SPORTS DAY – WHERE PASSION BEGINS, AND CHARACTER IS FORMED THROUGH SPORT
At CIS Sports Day: Do it your way, sport was celebrated not as an add-on to education, but as a vital part of student development — deeply embedded within the internationally benchmarked learning journey at the Canadian International School (CIS).
The event’s most inspiring moment came from an engaging sharing session with two CIS students — both members of Vietnam’s U16 National Basketball Team. Through their stories of discipline, perseverance, and personal growth, they ignited a deep sense of motivation in younger students, planting early seeds of passion for basketball and the values that come with it.
The basketball training session, led by Coach Paul Villanova and joined by Minh and Khôi, vividly demonstrated the CIS philosophy: nurturing well-rounded individuals through a holistic blend of sport, academics, and life skills — all within a dynamic, internationally minded educational environment.
