CELEBRATING A SUCCESSFUL PARENT ASSOCIATION MEETING!

We recently had a productive discussion during our Parent Association Meeting, filled with updates from the school and valuable feedback from our amazing parent community. This two-way communication is exactly what CIS strives for to foster a supportive environment for our children's development and well-being.

Our School Leadership Team was excited to attend the event with our Parent Association. In attendance were Mr. Pete Corcoran, the CISS Head of School; Dr. Chandra McGowan, our Secondary Principal for 2024-2025; along with our Guidance Counselor and Parent Engagement Team.

Highlights of the Meeting: 

• Introducing the Parent Engagement Department: We're excited to launch this new department dedicated to enhancing communication between families and the school, and supporting parents in connecting more deeply with their children.
•  Unveiling the New Operating Model of the Parent Association: We're pleased to announce the establishment of the Ambassador Committee! Positions will be filled through voluntary applications for the 2024-2025 school year. This committee will consist of enthusiastic and active parents who will maintain regular contact with the School Board and be core members of CIS's parent network. Applications are open until June 20th, 2024.
