BREAK FREE FROM LIMITATIONS, ALWAYS BE YOURSELF
L. Ngoc (Sara) became an outstanding athlete when she joined CIS in 2023. She was chosen as one of two athletes from District 7 to represent Vietnam in the 13th Asian Schools Games in Da Nang because of her outstanding accomplishments.
"The incredible support from my teachers, particularly Secondary Principal Ms. Melissa, Ms. Kathleen, Ms. Lyndsey, and my ASO instructors, has helped me achieve a healthy balance between academics and athletics. In addition, I'm grateful for the chance to train alongside star coach Ms. Anh Vien and hone my track skills under coach Aidan's expert guidance." Sara shared.
Sara - the owner of impressive athletic achievements:
Track and Field:
- ️2 Gold medals in the 1,500m and 400m races, HCMC Athletics Competition 2023
- ️2 Gold medals in the 50m and 100m races, City Sports Competition 2023
- ️1 Gold medal in the 800m race, HCMC Youth and Gifted Athletics Championship
- 1 Bronze medal in Track and Field, Dak Lak Province Phu Dong Health Festival
Swimming:
- ️ 2 Gold medals in the 100m and 50m frog, National High School Student Sports Tournament
- ️ 1 Gold medal, HCMC Youth and Gifted Swimming and Diving Championship 2023
- ️1 Silver medal, SISAC City Championship
In addition to sports, Sara also has artistic talents:
- ️1 Gold and Silver medals, National Gymnastics Youth and Age Group Championships 2023
- 2nd place in the CIS Got Talent competition in modern dance
- She can play musical instruments such as T'rung, violin, piano, guzheng (Chinese zither), and Vietnamese zither. She recently performed traditional music at the CIS Spring Festival
