A TASTE OF FRENCH CULTURE: LA FÊTE DES CRÊPES

To wrap up the first half of the term, Ms. Judith’s French class celebrated with a delicious hands-on activity: "La Fête des Crêpes!"

 

 

For the day, the classroom turned into a little French crêperie. Students worked together in small teams, stepping into roles as chefs, mixers, servers, and assistants. Everything - from following recipes and naming ingredients to serving their classmates - was done entirely in French.

 

 

Afterward, everyone sat down together to share their freshly made crêpes, bringing a taste of the French La Chandeleur tradition to campus. There’s really no better way to learn a language than experiencing it firsthand - and enjoying a sweet treat along the way.
