MUN: WHERE CIS-ERS STEP INTO THE ROLE OF UNITED NATIONS CONFERENCE DELEGATES
The Model United Nations (MUN) conference, organized successfully by the members of the MUN Club at CISS, focused on the topic "Human Rights." In this event, students from the CISS MUN Club dressed formally and assumed the roles of representatives from various countries. They engaged in discussions, proposed solutions, and reached consensus on eliminating issues related to human rights abuses and the trafficking of children. Additionally, they presented arguments to uphold the stance of the countries they represented.
More than just a typical extracurricular club, Model United Nations (MUN) sparks students' interest in crucial global issues. Through simulated scenarios, students practice and refine various soft skills:
- Logical critical thinking.
- Analyzing and reasoning critically.
- Effective negotiation and persuasion.
The MUN CISS Club provides students with an exciting experience, exposing them to sustainable international knowledge across various fields. CIS hopes that as MUN members, students will connect with a community of students both nationally and internationally, becoming future leaders and adept diplomats!
