WINTER SERIES - JOYFUL JOURNEY TO THE FESTIVE SEASON
PRIMARY CHRISTMAS CONCERT - A Joyful Start to the Festive Season
Our Primary Christmas Concert filled the CIS Hall with music, laughter, and the unmistakable excitement of the holiday season. Under the theme “How to Train Your Reindeer to Fly,” our Grade 1-3 students brought a delightful variety of performances to the stage - from cheerful songs to charming ensemble pieces - each delivered with growing confidence and holiday spirit.

We are grateful to our teachers for guiding the students with such care, and to our families whose presence made the afternoon even warmer. Moments like these remind us of the joy of coming together as a community and celebrating our young learners as they discover their voices, their courage, and the magic of performing.
Library Winter Market - A Week of Winter Magic at CIS
Throughout the past week, the Library Winter Market brought a delightful touch of the holiday season to CIS. Our library was transformed into a charming winter-inspired space, welcoming students, teachers, and staff to gather, create, and enjoy the festive atmosphere together.

Highlights from this year’s Winter Market:
Curated booths featuring festive stationery and seasonal gifts
Creative Winter workshops led by our partner - Laboco
Student-run booths showcasing initiative and community spirit
ESCA’s Toy Swap, promoting meaningful acts of sharing and sustainability
Winter Photo Booth capturing warm, joyful moments of the season
STEM-IT club created customized pins and 3D printed items

Each activity offered students opportunities to express their creativity, build connections, and engage in experiences that reflect the values of our CIS community.
Bûche de Noël at CIS | A Taste of Christmas Crafted with Creativity and Compassion!
28 beautifully finished bûche de Noël cakes - created by our French-language students - were displayed and auctioned in the library last week, bringing a lively and meaningful festive spirit to our campus. The CIS community came together with wonderful enthusiasm, helping raise 12,000,000 VND in support of the Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation.

The bûche de Noël is a beloved symbol of Christmas in French culture. By preparing and decorating their own cakes, students had the chance to explore this tradition in a way that feels both authentic and memorable. It allowed them to see how cultural practices are passed from one generation to the next, while naturally linking their language learning to real experiences. The project also gave students the opportunity to take part in a community effort that reflects the spirit of giving during the holiday season.

Thank you to our French-language students, to Ms. Judith - who continues to guide and preserve this meaningful tradition - and to the entire CIS community for creating a Christmas season filled with warmth, creativity, and generosity.
