INFORMATION SESSION “RE-ESTABLISHMENT OF THE CIS PARENTS’ ASSOCIATION"
Recently, the Canadian International School (CIS) hosted an information-sharing session entitled “Re-establishing the CIS Parent Association (CISPA)”. The goal of this meeting was to build stronger collaborative links between parents and school and engage parents as active partners in their children’s education.
The stated goals and objectives for CISPA were presented and discussed.
- Communication: Promote positive communication and resolve questions in our parent community.
- Cooperation: Partner with the school on specific projects or initiatives.
- Parent Training Programs: Host workshops for other parents on how to support their children's learning.
- Volunteering: Organize and host events throughout the year.
At the event, our Head of School, Mr. Peter Corcoran, shared the school’s strategic plan and objectives for the coming school year. He highlighted some of this year's initiatives around academic performance, global citizenship, character development, and improvements to the facilities.
CIS believes that re-establishing the CIS Parents’ Association is an important next step in enhancing the quality of our comprehensive educational environment and ensuring the best learning conditions for our students.
Please consider joining CISPA and contributing to our daily work as educators, delivering exceptional learning with outstanding care and support to create global citizens and future leaders.
