How far can a badminton tournament go? For students at CIS, the answer isn’t measured by trophies, but by the tangible difference they make. Fueled by their love for sport, a group of 12 CIS students founded "Birdies for Better" - a non-profit initiative driven by a clear mission: "Every Point Makes a Difference."

What sets this project apart is its professional execution. The team independently orchestrated the entire initiative from scratch, structuring themselves into five specialized departments: Content, Communications, Design, Finance, and Logistics.

The maturity, focus, and seamless teamwork shown by Hải Đăng (Founder), An Nhiên, Bảo Khánh, Khánh Vy, Gia Hân, Quang Huy, Quốc Nguyễn, Minh Nhật, Ngọc Mai, Bảo Ngọc, Lê Minh, and Nhật Nam offer a compelling look at the CIS student profile - resourceful global citizens who lead with purpose and action.

Their successful inaugural tournament is just the beginning of a long-term commitment to social responsibility. Thanks to community support, "Birdies for Better" raised 15,000,000 VND, which was fully used to purchase new textbooks and learning materials for 54 underprivileged students in Định Quán, Đồng Nai.
