WHEN ENERGY BECOMES A STORY TO EXPLORE

During a Physics practical on the conservation of mechanical energy, CIS students had the opportunity to investigate how potential energy and kinetic energy transform from one form to another through a simple yet insightful experiment. Each measurement and observation helped them follow the changes in energy as the ball rolled down the ramp and transitioned into horizontal motion.

This lesson also incorporated 3D-printed components in the experimental setup, making the process of observing and collecting data clearer and more engaging. Through careful measurements and group discussion, students gained a deeper understanding of how energy is transferred within a system - and strengthened their scientific thinking through firsthand experience.
