Dear Musical Cast, Pit Band and Crew, It has been about a month since our final performance. We cannot say enough how proud we are of your commitment and talent in helping us put together such a huge musical. Dark Victory: Batman vs. Joker started as nothing more than an idea and you are the ones responsible for bringing it to life. We watched as you grew as actors and musicians - sometimes unsure and shy of what you were doing - and yet, you still managed to exceed even the highest of expectations. Each of you brought your unique flavour to the production that helped make it what it was. YOU are what made the musical a success.

To the Cast: Working with you and getting to know you over the past year has been a wonderful experience. You are all very rare individuals. Your talents, abilities, and uniqueness are what made this production everything that it was. Every single rehearsal was a joy to be in and something that we looked forward to every week. For many months, you were at school late, working on your lines, songs, and dances. Often, people do not see the work that goes into a production behind the scenes, they only see the final result, but the hours you put in - months, and months ahead of time are what made the show what is was. Thank you for being you: an energetic, incredibly multi-talented group. We could not have asked for a better cast.

To the Pit Band: Some of you have been with us for two years and some of you joined us this year but all of you have grown immensely in your skills and abilities. We cannot believe the amount of talent that you have. Many times you created the music with nothing more than vague chords and a recording - you made Dark Victory a reality. We hope you continue to find every opportunity to make music and perform. To the Crew: From makeup, to setting the stage, to the lights and projector, all the finer details of the play would not have been possible without all of your help. You helped the show run smoothly and were essential in getting every detail on the stage. You faced a great deal of pressure, close to showtime, no one in the audience would have known that. Your professionalism and dedication was not only impressive but appreciated more than you could know. We thank you for your help in making Dark Victory the musical we always envisioned.

Musical theatre is a community that brings together people from all walks of life. We are a community of people with different talents, abilities, and interests; we are a community that welcomes diversity and appreciates a little bit of weirdness (well, maybe a lot of weirdness). We hope you take advantage of every opportunity to perform and are not afraid to let your freak flag fly. Remember, each and every one of your is an All Star.

Every Masterpiece, I’d write again

And Ever After was OURS.

Musically Yours,

Miss Heather, Miss Lauren, and Miss Lindsay
