THE PARENTS' COFFEE TALK: “READY FOR NEW SCHOOL YEAR”

THE PARENTS' COFFEE TALK: “READY FOR NEW SCHOOL YEAR”

In keeping with  the Ontario philosophy, The Canadian International School System considers parents as our partners in our children’s academic, emotional and social development.

Parents matter in education. They matter as vital partners who contribute much to the work of our educators, schools, and communities. They matter as parent leaders, parent mentors, and models of commitment to excellence in education, and they matter every day as they influence and support their children’s academic achievement.

Parent in Partnership: A Parent Engagement Policy in Ontario Schools, 2010, Ontario

Parent Coffee Talks are designed to promote parent engagement. These beneficial platforms are meant to  provide practical insights about each stage of child development, and helpful tips for “growing up” with children. This school year 2019-2020, we are excited to invite all parents to join us at The Parent's Coffee Talks beginning this month.
