Waterloo Math Contest 2017-2018 is waiting for you ahead!!!

The University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada claims to have the largest concentration of mathematical and computer science talent in the world. In order to be eligible for a scholarship to the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo, a student must write the Grade 12 Euclid Mathematics Contest. All of the other contests recognize the top achievers with certificates and medals, but are practice sessions for the contest that really matters, the Euclid Contest.

Over the last few years, the Waterloo Math contests have been open only to students at Canadian International School in Vietnam. Since April 2016, CISS has expanded the contests, providing more opportunities for students from other schools to participate. We know that many students are excellent math students and creative problem solvers. Preparing for and writing these contests is an enjoyable and demanding experience. We want to provide opportunities for students to succeed, both in and beyond high school.
