CIS Christmas Concerts 2018

CIS Christmas Concerts 2018

Let's get in the festive spirit with many Christmas concerts at the Canadian International School this year!

1. Kindergarten Christmas concert

"I feel like falalala. I feel like turalu"
On Friday, December 14, 2018, our lovely Kindergarten students dressed as gingerbread cookies, bells, angles, and other Christmas symbols to sing a lot of beautiful Christmas songs to parents. Their energy and passion truly made people want to stand up and dance with them. It was good to see our little students enjoyed the stage so much. Let's give them a big hand and stay tuned for many more amazing shows to come in this school year.

2. Primary Christmas concert

On December 11, 2018, students from Grade 1 - 3 truly took the audiences to a Christmas wonderland right here at CIS by their lovely performances in the Primary Christmas concert. The theme of this year was Community Christmas as the audiences were invited to sing along during the show. Hope that all of us had a good time singing, dancing and enjoying the festive spirit together! Special thanks to our beloved primary students for bringing a lot of Christmas joy to CIS.

3. Junior Christmas concert

On December 13, 2018, students from Grade 4 - 6 together with their teachers and parents celebrated the sounds of the festive season in the Junior Christmas concert. This year, our students performed many Christmas songs from different countries around the world with their drums, ukuleles, singing, and boomwhackers. It was a chance to showcase our students' talents and the learning they have experienced so far at CIS. We hope that this little concert brought smiles and joy to every audience's hearts.

4. A little music night

On December 6, 2018, a winter concert named "A little music night" took place in CIS. A variety of ensembles - including students from grade 7, through to grade 12 - performed a wide range of musical selections that truly emphasized their skills and passion towards music. It was a nice surprised that some of those students just started playing their instruments this year! All of the students involved had been working very hard to have select, rehearse, and perform these pieces for the audiences.
