CIS alumnus got an internship at the Ministry of Education in Toronto

As a future computer engineer, Tu Trung Nguyen (Student of the University of Waterloo, Application Programmer at the Ministry of Education, Toronto, Canada) has always wanted to have a chance to practice the knowledge he gained in lectures with hands-on experience. Thus, it was absolutely outstanding that our soon-to-be engineer has undertaken his internship as an Application Programmer at the Ministry of Education in Toronto.

Tu was thrilled when he got his offer and super excited to be working in a new environment. During the internship, Tu uses his knowledge of programming languages to perform test automation and web developments for various projects. This opportunity not only enables Tu to apply theories in real-life situations, but also allows him to foster essential skills, such as collaboration, management and working under pressure. Even though he has encountered challenges during his term, Tu has diligently learned to build up his expertise. Tu will be completing his term as the Application Programmer this summer and will return to school.
